Yes, Mosher Pond ice went out last night.
Low 40's and the clouds came in around noon and the wind started to blow.
It's a cold wind too!!!!!

I shut the heat off in the cellar a couple days ago. It was warm out until the wind came up today!!!
But I don't burn much wood now just heating one floor.

Showers here all afternoon, more like rain now. I saw 42° as the warmest we got. I did cut some trail out and the firewood and rails in the trail. I think it might be white here in the morning. There is a fire on here.  ffwave

The head ponds here are pretty much open water now. I see the osprey are back on there nesting poles. Lots of them poles around here. Eagles are never too hard to find either, saw one last week sitting on a pile of river ice that washed on shore.

A perfectly nasty nasty day. Temp high was 44° but the wind has not dropped below 20MPH all day, mostly up in the 30's range. Solid overcast with no more than 15 minutes of sun all day either. It felt, all day, like rain was coming, but it never did. Just not a nice day. I shut the house stove down more than a week ago, because of dwindling wood. Well with all my running around outside and laying on cold shop floors I just can't seem to warm up. SO I restarted the house stove. It will be a 'one and done' fire, but if I don't get my den, at least, back up to 75 for a little while I just won't warm up. I had a lousy night's sleep last night for other reasons, so tonight I really need a full night. This shoulder season seems like a long one this year.

Pretty dark here now Ray, I can't tell if the sun will come out or not. ffcheesy But the radar is clear, 40° at 5:30am and it should warm all day with mostly lower winds. But they have forecast 35mph gusts the the middle of the day.

Coming and here are two different things.  :wink_2:

It has been nice here for two days, and it looks to be nice today, too. The Hot Rod is just about done. Next will be the 1965 Inpala Supersport.
Then, the 1967 1/2-ton Chevy had some rust, but it was not bad. Then the 1963 1/2 ton Chevy. This is a creampuff. All stepsides with a 6' bed. 3 on the tree.

Started the mill for the first time this year, I'm not open yet.
The mill fired up and ran just like when I turned it off last December 1. No jumping the batt, no bull, just ran like a champ.

It's supposed to be a nice temperature today and tomorrow, but I ain't got enough kites for the wind, which I'm getting tired of. I'd like to work on the raised bed tomorrow but I fear 30 mph winds may blow me away with them. We'll see how it goes, if I can get out I'll probably be in shorts!

Overcast here, some cold wind. Never had any snow in the fields, but up on the hill tops was white on the trees this morning. 35° this morning and still 35°. Suppose to freeze ground tonight and clear out. And nowhere near any 50° here today.  ffcheesy ffcheesy

We had 37° here for the high Thursday, overcast day, windy. Sunny day for Friday and might see 55°. No big warm up here for the next 10 days, lots of 40's and 50's.

30° this morning with a high of 60.
Lots of sun in the morning then some clouds will move in and some showers tonight.
Looks like a dry weekend.
Beter then the last 3 weekends with rain each day.

30° here also, sunny, calm. Moon in the south. Might see 55° today and 58° tomorrow, but showers and rain tomorrow. Looks like a cold windy day Sunday, struggle to hit mid 40's.

Very nice day yesterday, temp hit 69° and sunny until late afternoon. But that wind is still persistent. A 30mph wind at 65° with bright sun and 40% humidity is still a whole lot better than a 30mph wind with 43°, solid overcast, and 90% humidity any day. :wink_2:

Looks to be cloudy all day today but in the high 70's and the wind will be back again through mid day. Rain in the later afternoon. I think I'll do a smudge fire in the shop this morning just to dry out the air a bit and bump the temp into the 60's, it's 57 out there now.

Yesterday was a nice day.
The clouds moved in, and we lost the sun, but it was warm out.
I saw 62 a lot.
Looks like 70 today, but not much sun.
Better enjoy the warmth today, 50° tomorrow and the wind will come up.
