Our hummingbirds don't share like that either! Occasionally there'll be two that'll be agreeable but not very often. I'm also amazed they survive at all.

Heavy rain passed through Western NC at the school last night. Very foggy this morning.

Was mostly cloudy and cool, but we did have some sun now and again. I think it got to 55°. It was almost clear this morning when I left for work. Even saw the moon over the neighbor's cow shed.

38° this morning and clear as a bell with stars and moon. Weatherman said cloudy last night and today. That's the kind of forecasting we get.  :wacky: :uhoh:

I have 42° and the high is only supposed to be mid 50's.
And no sun.
And rain tonight.
Looks like I will have to wait until Monday to see the sun and 70° temps.

Comparatively cold last night, especially out in the wind, and this morning. I think mid 40's. It'll be like this for a couple days, I think.

It's been cold and raw all week. I lit up the kitchen stove Monday and it's been running steady since then. Yesterday especially cold with a strong East wind. I lit up the basement stove at noon as the house was cooling down. I almost never run the basement stove in May! It is very unusual to have a several day cold spell this late in May.
Rain started about an hour ago, temp is 40. Warm in the house now with both stoves burning. They say 1-2 inches of rain before it's over tomorrow.

43 was the low last night here and the rain started around 2pm yesterday. It's 45 here now with a high predicted at 47°, the breeze will be steady out of the NE and rain off an on all day into tomorrow when it tapers or thins out. In short. it's not exactly pleasant. I spent a little time in the shop yesterday but it needed a drying fire to make it comfortable and I didn't feel like starting that mid-afternoon.
Today will be a different story. It's no going to break 60 until Sunday afternoon.
