Hood 24000 loader hydraulic problems

I have an old hood 24000 log loader. Probably the first one ever built. It sat for over a year and leaked most of its hydraulic oil out so I added 20 gallons and started it up. For some reason I have no swing or stabilizers. That whole valve bank doesn't work. All other functions work fine. That valve bank runs off of a single section vane pump that is on the front of the engine running off of the crankshaft. Assuming the pump was shot I put a new one on. Of course that didn't fix it. So I then pulled the filter screen in the tank and cleaned it. (It wasn't dirty). Still didn't work. Next I changed the suction hose that went from the tank to the pump, and still no luck. Im now out of ideas. I was wondering if anyone here might know something about these old relics. Or maybe have a hydraulic schematic for one of these. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know much about a hood loader but they wouldn't happen to be a deverter valve in the circuit that's in neutral position. Some older loaders had a valve to use one function and move it to use another.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it does seem to have a little selector valve that you use to switch between the front stabilizers. When you move that lever there seems to be no resistance. I thought that it was because the pump wasn't working.

Davco -  207-778-9060.  Who I would call. Do you actually have flow thru the valve section that's dead ? Can you crack a hose and test it ? My barko 160A would lose prime constantly if she sits funny, we added another 10gal tank above the reservoir as a head tank, you sure you've got enough oil ? You've got straight up hydraulics ? No electric cut off for the saw or valve bank ? 1996 was the change over year on the 24000 to the newer boom style, if you can find a serial # I'm sure Davco may have a schematic.
