Triple the cost across the board since Hidden Biden crawled out the basement and caused the price increases.
Tuesday can change that if you vote for effective positive change.

Diesel is $US8.40/US gallon up here. Big jump yesterday.

If they were complaining during Katrina's big jump, they should be ready to park their trucks for a long winter. I don't know who can afford this, the farmers are complaining already. Back to oxen and plows.

Like Jim Rogers said, fill out your profile so we know of where you speak.
Sorry, I had my location in my profile listed as upstate SC, but that apparently doesn't immediately show up below my avatar.  The cheapest fuel around me was (and still is) at the Spartanburg, SC Costco and Sam's Club as well as a few other near by stations.  Still hanging in there at $2.979/gal for regular.

Gasoline dropped to under $2.36 on the commodities market Friday and the price at the pump for regular has been inching down for over a week.  There's a Walmart close to downtown Spartanburg that has it for $2.85 and the Costco I mentioned previously has it for $2.86.  It will be interesting to see which way it trends over the next week.

Still $4.099 here in Russell for 87 oct.

The last off highway Diesel that I bought was $4.499, but @~4 gallons per day, that is still less than $20 per day sawing.

I adjusted my sawing rate up to account for that plus my truck expenses.

Gas and diesel have both dropped over 26 cents a litre since my last report.

$1.61/litre for gas (US$4.44/gallon), $2.70/litre for diesel. Heating oil is $2.48/litre

Last Monday, my local AP/PM regular dropped from $4.839 to $4.639 and 2 days later to $4.539, where it sits now.  If I take a short drive, I can get it for $4.099 (at a 76 station) and a lot of places at $4.299.  Diesel is still $5.69 or more.  There are some places still selling regular for $5.79 or more and diesel over $6.

87 Octane here is around 3 bucks a gallon. Diesel is right at 5 bucks a gallon. Don't make sense to me for the 2 dollar a gallon difference.

Been on the road a little bit the last couple weeks bought some gas in Kansas for less then three dollars. Diesel in that area was just under five. Gas in my area is 3.40 and diesel is 4,89. Was in Iowa yesterday central Iowa close to Minn. Gas was 3.40 and diesel was five. Gas is down a little but diesel has stayed steady around here.

And now dropped to $4.439 at my local station.  So, something like forty cent drop in two weeks.

The bottom is falling out of the commodities market in some areas, gasoline is trading at under $2.06/gallon at the time I'm typing this.  The retail market is floating down like a feather, very, very slowly.  The cheapest regular around me is $2.699/gallon with several stations hovering at $2.729/gallon.  I'm hoping for more of a drop (who isn't) but I don't urgently need to fill everything up either.

Reg gas here is $3.89 =/- .005. Home heating oil $5.00 and just ordered propane today at $1.75 which is a big part of my switch from a 17 year old oil furnace to a new propane furnace hooked up yesterday.

Is that propane at $1.75/gallon & delivered?  If so, that's an awesome deal.  The best I can get when filling bottles is $12.42 after tax I paid for filling an empty 20lb bottle at Costco & they'll fill bottles up to the 100lb size.  Assuming I bought 4.6 gallons, that works out to $2.70/gallon & driving just under 30 miles to get it.

Al_Smith

Gasoline around $2.75 .Propane 2 bucks .On the later unless a Siberian express blows through one tank( 500 gallon ) should do it .The wood stove insert is carrying that load nicely .Evidently the natural convection in this house must move the heat around very well .The furnace has not ran since the first week of November .

That's delivered and pumped into a 500 gal tank, I mentioned in the other thread that it is probably taxed different if its for heating a home versus grilling some wienies.

FWIW no more gasoline I use or propane to grill weenies I don't get real concerned what it costs .Those fuels are only a 3 mile drive for me .Really it's the best of
two worlds .10 acres with 7.5 wooded so the firewood which will never run out in my life time is within 500 feet in any direction .Plus shopping is usually within 3-4 miles .

I was out and about today in the rain and filled up with $3.479 cash.  Then I saw a Chevron station with regular for $5.859 and diesel for $7.4something.  Across the street was a good buck and a half cheaper - but people were still buying the expensive stuff!

Wife paid $2.739 at Sam's club yesterday.
