Bandsaw mill ID
« on: July 23, 2005, 09:16:36 PM »
My sister in Law showed me a picture of a mill on wood island ?? alaska  It was a horizantal band mill  hooked to what looked  like a 6"x6" aluminum square tube    the mill seemed to be cantilevered  off the tube .  anyone know what it is ?
you  don't have to be crazy to cut juniper but it sure helps !

Ive never seen one but Ive heard of an aluminum Wood-Mizer.   It was built in the early years and was made to disassemble and pack into remote places.
Wood-Mizer LT40HDE25 Super 25hp 3ph with Command Control and Accuset.
Sawing since '94
