Well, I had my first day of training yesterday.  It was the logging safety course.  I learned a good amount about felling, but I still want to take a hands on course.  Much of the knowledge came from the other guys taking the course, but the instructor was very nice and very knowledgeable.  All in all, there were about 8 or 9 other guys there that were all loggers, and there was over 200 years combined experience :o  Needless to say, I was the only one there who wasn't a logger :-[

dude.....don't let that trouble you . I was the only logger in my chainsaw certifaction course....they were homeowner/firewood cutters & arborists. ::)
just another beaver with a chainsaw &  it's never so bad that it couldn't get worse.

They've put on those chain saw courses here and it's mostly folks that hardly cut enough to keep warm in winter. But, just the same they're getting trained. ;D

Rather have them trained than delimbing themselves :o

my trainin is my pap watchin me like a hawk even when i think hes not sumhow he still he. i think he has eyes in the bak of his head  ;D and trust me when i do sumthin wrong  :o  ;D he tells me the worst that cood happen and how he knew sumone that it happened to .... which is good cause it keeps me in line  8)
