Here are 2 pictures of a highly figured Birdseye Maple rocking chair that DonP and I saw at Logging Congress.

When I say highly figured, also consider the over $9000 price tag. Each. If your interested, there was a pair of them. :) They were absolutely beautiful.

Here is a picture of some high figure Mango. This piece is way more beautiful up close and personal.
This is actually a two piece bookmatch for the sides of a guitar.

The whole tree can be had for less than the price of a rocking chair!

What would something like that be worth Steve?

These pieces are part of this guitar set which is made up of these 4 pieces, all 1/8 tp 3/16" thick. Two pieces make up the back and two for the sides. The top us usually but not always spruce.
I expect(hope?) to get $75 for this set. I'm kind of breaking new ground in offering this for instruments but I have been having some success in selling a few. It has been used here in Ukuleles for sometime.

Normally about as much as I could expect to get for nice Curly Mango lumber would be $10 per bf. Select grade is around $5.
