What is considered 'small' diameter?  Is it below a certain diameter, or within a diameter range?

I'm not within the 75 miles, but just interested in what you mean by 'small' diameter.   :)

Normally it is the top end of walnut trees or walnut branches on larger trees or trees between 10-14" which will not make grade around here normally.
