How do bowl turners want blanks prepared?

I have a couple 12-15 dia persimmon logs, I sawed one but I don't think its worth messing with such a small log. The wood is really pretty with really nice bark, black swirl figure and was wondering how to prep air bowl turning blanks for turners.

I figured I'd make a few blanks for bark edge bowls and pieces for standard bowls. Do turners want them dipped in paraffin wax to keep the blanks green and wet or is there another method preferred?

I coat the ends of my blanks with Anchor Seal and store them outside in the shed.  If they are brought into the shop they dry to fast and crack.  If the turning blank is from a crotch and has lots of endgrain going each and every way, then I will seal the whole blank.

Some woods need hardly any attention or worry.  Walnut drys in heavy chunks for me with hardly any problems.  Soft Maple does well also.
Good luck on that Persimmon.  I had every piece of mine crack and split so much that I couldn't slavage anything from it.
