For decades, the magnificent temperate rain forests of British Columbia have been ruled by a nearly invisible group of politicians and forest company executives. The result has led to an industry vilified for clear-cuts and environmental degradation. It has also led to a work force that has been plagued by accidents and deaths.

I am not sure where this is going. I sense union propaganda but could be wrong (has happened a few times). I love the bush and logging but have no illusions about the hazards.

It was on last night Jeff, my wife called me in to see it.
It ran for about a half hour and I caught the web link at the end of the show.

This is so typical of a west coast faller, watching the top of the tree while making the cut.
