Anyone been to the Pictured Rock up in the UP? I'm going up at the end of the month and looking for any thoughts or suggestions. Thinking of taking a tour boat ride. Also taking our kayaks so we're looking for good kayak waters.

There is a lot of kayaking in the Pictured Rocks area if you have a sea kayak. They kayak in and about the Rocks area. Contact the Pictured Rocks National Park for info. You may also want to visit Grand Island. Contact the Hiawatha National Forest for information on Grand Island.

I've done a lot of scuba diving in the area. A lot of shipwrecks to visit.

We use to go to Grand Maris every summer which is just east of pictured rocks be sure to drive east out of Grand Maris and drive up to Deer Park then out south of Grad Maris to Seney and drive the seven miles around the wildlife area beautiful county.

Stop in at the USFS/Park Service office and visitor center in Munising, MI near Pictured Rocks and they can provide you with much info on the area and things to see and do there.
