Diesel fuel damaged the tires on my Hud-son. I installed some Sulfolk Machine  tires and they are holding up fine with diesel. The only thing was I had to have the wheels machined to fit but it was worth it. I think soap & water worked better than winshield washer fluid, but when it gets cold you don't want to freeze up. I didn't like the way my blades pitted with water, also the blades would get blue ( from heat ). I think the blade runs cooler with Diesel. When I first started using diesel I used too much and I had trouble keeping the blades on. I think a gallon goes about 1000bf. Works good. What about bugs and varmits with vegetable oil and bio diesel ?

I tried the anchor Seal today 1 cup in 5 gal and I think it did quiet the blade and kept the pitch off. I was cutting fir.
