THe last several days we have been under an Asian based DOS attack. We have been playing whackamole trying to ban I.P. blocks. what @Nomad discovered was simply a casualty of the switch over from http to https and SSL. the finda database had not been reconfigured. It should be working now. thanks for pointing that out Bill

I'm not sure if this is related to the new changes or not. I went to the knowledge base to look for info on drying and none of the links I click on work. The hyperlink address shows up in the lower left corner as normal but I get no response or error when I click on any of the links. Am I missing something. Please don't treat this as a priority, it's not. Maybe just another dumb user mistake.

Seriously, I just read your note about whats happening and I feel terrible for you. You deserve a diagnosis by now. Had I known you were still dealing with that pre-Christmas thing I would have never even brought this up. Jeff, I truly wish all the best for you and some speedy help for this mystery.

I opened the Finda-Data-Base, and if I click the link at the bottom to edit a record it brings up a login screen. I do not believe I have a recorded entry and maybe is why the screen does not change if I try to login. However, when I click the "Click here to add a new record to the database" nothing happens. I can open it in a new tab/window and it comes to the page to login in. When entering a username/password and hit enter, then get the error "There is no value for cgifunction".

@Jeff it now works for entering a new record but not if I try signing in as a member. It tells me the username is already used. Would I need a different username than what I sign into the forum with or should it be the same? If I try to sign in as a member I get the first error of “There is no value for cgifunction”.
