Wormy Chestnut
« on: July 10, 2008, 02:05:54 PM »
I have approx. 7,000 bdft of reclaimed chestnut from a barn.  The "mile logs" or "sleepers" are 8"x10"(face)x 25' and the beams are all 8"x8" or 8"x9" x 10' to 25' long.  Beams still have original saw marks.

I'm in western pa, and I can saw into whatever dimension you want.  Asking $5.25 per bdft in the beam and $5.95 sawn into 4/4, buy at least 1,500 bdft and I'll knock off $0.50 per bdft.
