We had a tremendous thunderstorm here at The Beach yesterday afternoon. Saw over two inches of rain, constant lightning and thunder, large hail in some areas, trees down, and possible tornadoes. Lost the satellite reception for a while, but the power only blinked once. One house near the oceanfront had part of the third story blown completely off.

It was in the upper 80's here yesterday and lower 80's here today, but no humidity (in relative terms). Lots of sweat pouring off anyway.  :D

It is warm out here on the left coast. Already 25C (80F)in North Vancouver at 9:00, going to hit 100F+ in the interior. Too DanG hot for me. Forestry is being kept very busy with fires and it's only going to get worse.

94 today when I left the job at 2:30 pm. I'll be starting work again tomorrow by 6:00 am. I hate summer heat. >:(

53° and more rain today. Tonight they are calling for low 40's and someplaces could get into the upper 30's if the cloud cover moves out

I wish it were that cool here to kill off the deer flies. They are real thick in the bush. I saw a moose the other day on the road, she musta had a cloud of deer flies over her that numbered a thousand. :D

I get them critter here too. The flies. I get 3-5 buzzing around me.Than all is quiet. Not good!! That mean they are chewing.

Cold front moving through Ohio tonight.  Dropped 10 degrees in 30 minutes.  Feels good.  High tomorrow supposed to be 71°F.

I can tolerate the heat for the most part, but the humidity is killing me. It's still 80 at about 10 00 and just watering the dogs had me sweating. Fall can't get here soon enough.

News has a tornado warning for Franklin County,around 6pm.which is me, and Somerset County.
