just bought a sthil 660 used like brand new for 600 bucks 2 bars 3 chain 2 air filters and 5 socks for it..........third time i used the saw nice and calm out decide to cut down a tree and soon as i got into the back cut almost finished and gust f wind came up and tree kicked off the stump bent the bar exhaust and cracked the case where the dogs are.  thank fully it didn't really crack bad so i jb welded it.   Anyone else have this problem cutting down a tree?

I have seen the wind twist a tree off it's hinge.
Just something to be aware of or avoid altogether if it's too windy.
You can support the tree with wedges sometimes.
One of lifes little lessons I guess.

Suppose it's one of those thing you gotta watch out for. Be thankful that it didn't harm you.
