Log Fairy Pays Me a Visit
« on: July 02, 2003, 10:07:10 AM »
I don't know where they are coming from but over the last couple of days the log pile in my driveway is growing. First there were 3 nice little ash logs about 10" x 5 feet long and last night I came home to find 4 birch logs about the same size.

I guess they are too big to put under my pillow so the log fairy is stacking them neatly in the driveway. 8) 8)

Sounds like you got a friend! :-* ;D Just wait until that "friend" shows up and wants a free order of cedar milled up or something. :D :D :D :D

We always get a bit of rush of anxiety as we return home and approach the log lot.  Itís hard telling what weíre going to find.  Sometimes they leave notes or will come back in a week or two to tell us what they want out of the logs.  Sometimes itís a loaded trailer and maybe we recognize it or not.  Sometime we know who it is by looking at the logs.

Iíve come home to find Mary unloading three tandem axle loads of logs that came in all at one time. :o
