30,000BTU corn stove
« on: October 27, 2008, 10:47:04 PM »
I have a 5-6 year old free standing indoor corn stove for sale. It looks like a wood stove and has a glass front so you can see the flames. In good shape and it does a nice job of heating. Hopper holds about a bushel of corn and that will last over a day depending on how high you have the feed setting.
The only thing wrong with it is the vent pipe busted when I was taking it out of the wall. I'm selling because we are installing a wood burning stove.
Price is $500 and I'm willing to negoiate or trade. I can send you a picture if you like.

I'll have to look at the manual to see if it will burn pellets, I'm thinking that it will but I'll double check on that.

BTW, in the posting I forgot to mention that I paid $1700 new so it is a good stove.

I called the manufacturer and they said it would burn pellets with a conversion kit.
