2004 timberking 1600, Low hrs, low price.
« on: November 19, 2008, 12:50:25 PM »
I am selling my Timberking 1600. It has under 140 hrs but I am running it weekly. It has 25 kohler command, trailer package, hydraulic feed and log loader. Very nice mill, but for financial reasons and local ordinances that I don't want to deal with I am selling out. I am the second owner of this mill and bought it as a divorce settlement. It had 10-12 hrs on it when I got it and the rest was put on by me. Included are about 15 extra bands. I will have them all sharpened before the mill goes. Also a few extra belts for the band wheels as well as an extra belt for the hydraulic pump. A spare set of roller bearings is also included. The log stops are under engineered and need to be modified. The forward log loading arm ram needs a weld where I caught it on the ground a few months ago, but that doesn't effect its operation. I have been planning to take care of both of these things, just haven't gotten around to it.

it is a good fast mill for anybody wanting a good hydraulic bandmill. I am asking $12,000 for it and I will get the log stops and loading arm taken care of. I will take $10,500 for it as it is.

here is a link to a picture of the mill....The log turner pictured is not included :D   But I will throw in the canthook and a peavy.

Well ain't that ironic though? ::)  They pat you on the back and write you up in the paper for helping them "go green," then shut you down because some elitist snobs are offended by the fact that stuff has to come from somewhere.

Nice mill, good price!  It oughta sell in a hurry.

I think it was the article that tipped the county off to my existance....They hadn't sent me anything until a few days after the paper printed this article....then I got a shortened version of county code in the mail with sections highlighted :-\

Then another article about the results of the first one should make for better media story.
Hopefully that will expose the mentality of those who are against a business and/or a hobby.

Maybe the Mary Kay and the home quilt shops will be next on their hit list.  ::) ::)

To some, regulating others is their main objective in life. But at the same time, they don't want anyone telling them what to do, or how to do it.  ::) ::)
