I found some pics of the mill before it was moved to it's permanent location, so maybe these will hold yall over till I can get some more.

Thanks I'll be posting more as soon as the rain let's up. I can't wait to get started on "Cyrus" (the truck) it runs and drives but needs a paint job as soon as it's warm enough.

I just love them old trucks. They are nice and simple. Would like to see a shot of under the hood. Bet it has tons of room. The only thing i don't like about old trucks are the brake systems. Hard to get parts sometimes. Maybe Meadow Miller Chris's truck uses the same kind :D

What horsepower is the mill and how wide will it cut?

never met a log the motor didn't like but met afew that the chainsaw had to get friendly with before I could get them on the mill.

water oak actually and yeah once I quartered it with the stihl it cut just fine on the mill.

Nice Pics mate ;) ;D 8) 8) I like the Woodlookslika ;) ;D It seems like a pretty Well made bit of gear it shold do a top job for you ;D 8) 8) and Looking at the log you had to bust up I just gotta say there was never a log my oll 3120 with 4' bar never liked to meet ;) ;D But the lucas Like's Em Better ;D and I can say for sure that the Sawyers Alot Happer these days ;) :D :D :D ;D 8) ;)
But I gotta say I LOVE the A-162 Inters I learnt to drive trucks in My cousins (80yo now) 64 A-162 when i was 12 out the bush cutting and hand loading posts and sleepers ;) 8) 8) Dose yours have the 5 spd Timkin box and the Six (or an 8 ??? ) She wont take much to bring upto scratch looks strait as a die from here Mate ;) ;D ;D 8) Theres a Few yong blokes who are into the Older Gear ;D they have somthing New ones will Never Have Charicter ;) ;D ;D 8)

Fish ;) :D :D :D ;D ;)Most of mine wouldnt fit ive got a 5 spd Eaton with two spd diff and The freight would be worth more than the parts are worth Mate ;) :D :D ;D ;) I know a bloke who brought a 70s Coe Transtar cab in from the US because he coudnt find a decent one here for a Rebuild ;) A very tidy Cab cost $1000 freight $2500 Us ;) just had to respray & change the dash over and drop it on but still better than the 5 to 8 k aust for somthing thats had its bones rattled along 2 + million miles of rough Australian Roads

Ive wanted to Import a 359 Peterbuilt since i was a kid I could land a Verry good truck with rebuilt driveline here for about $25000 au but then the stinger $30000+ for the convesion

Chris the A-162 has the four speed with a two speed rear end and a BIG 6 cylinder. As far as the C-65 It's for sale that's what I was using to hual with but I found the old Inter. so now I don't need it. It has SHORT wheelbase but if it don't sell I may keep it to pull a gooseneck trailer with.

TF You will love having the two spd diff mate Cappys old one had the big six and and a strait five spd ;) ;D 8) But she'd Almost ;) run outa legs on some steep long climbs ;) :D :D ;) what size six is yours ??? My Accos got a 345 v8 on gas in it and pulls like a train the quickest ive had her is about 70 mph hith a full load on ;) ;D ;D 8) ;) The top speed limit on the freeways is 68mph ;) ;D Cyrus will look bloody nice when you get it painted Mate and alot of Girls love the old trucks ;) :D ;D ;D 8)
Ive also got to go and pick up a couple of R series Inters 56- 190 and 64-200 models but itll take two to build one Dang Nice Rig with a 6v53 or 6v71 with 10 spd R/R that will pull a 36 to 40 bogie flattop with a 19 ton payload but that will mostlikley be a 2 to 3 year project Ill be Verry Happy when its done ;) ;D 8)

What colour are you painting Cyrus Mate as you can probobly tell I Like RED It goes faster ;) :D :D ;)

It'll be hunter green with black grill, rims and bed.

Thanks that's my baby it's got a 350 bored 40 over double hump power pack high compression heads, roller lifters high flo oil pump and did have three deuces but I ent back with a 750 cfm holley.
the snow went all the way around us. A few miles north and south got a few inches but we didn't even get a flurry.

I would have ta get used to the TF ROPS, but maybe it will look better with the hunter green.

Hey TF, Ive got a 68 chevy. Its a 4wheel drive with a 4 speed manual, also 4:55 rear end, so even if I was to scream by, people would get a good look. They're pretty cool old trucks. If we had a race though, you'd surely beat me.

Great engine. I heard the three deuces were more for looks and a pain to keep tuned. Tuff to beat an ole Holly
I got an old 3/4 ton with a 350 and fourspeed granny low. Kinda rough though, call her the "Rag" I don't know why the kids don't want me to pick them up in it. :D

Chris I had a feeling you would be familiar with TF's IH truck, seems your style. 8) 8)

ErikC your making me foam at the mouth talking about 4x4 I love that body style truck especially with 4 by drive. Is yours factory or a conversion?

It's a k10 body, with a k20 undercarriage. Factory 4x4 though. Spicer locking hubs, rockwell transfer case and all. It isn't lifted or anything so it looks like a factory issue pretty much. I may have a picture around, I'll look.
