Grip Blanks
« on: August 15, 2009, 12:01:04 AM »
Looking for some blanks to make grips for some cowboy guns.
Need to be no smaller than 4x4 inches square. thickness needs to be about an inch or thicker.
Burl , spalted   figured wood the wilder the better.
Something  that  is stable. As I want to use them now.
Maple, Cherry, light wood  darkwood,  mineral streaked. Dont matter.
I dont really know what I want so I want a selection. to pick from and to share with my shooting friends.

Thanks
Dale

All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
   Second, it is violently opposed; and
   Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Thirty plus years in the sawmill/millwork business. A sore back and arthritic fingers to prove it!
