Ok all,

I'm in desperate need of a used Comact Wave feeder. Any ideas, or anyone looking to get rid of one?

Cheers!

I'd like to see a video of that working. Sounds impressive, and simple.

Yeah - the units are about the best you can get for log singulation. I've seen em working in many a small log sawmill here in the interior.

Problem is, Tom - the unit that Comact wants to sell new is priced at upwards of 250,000 installed. So...the hunt for a used unit continues...

Have you considered a tipple infeed to a bucket incline system? Simple, fast, low maintenance, bucket spacing is dependant on you logs size and motor size, if you need you logs even ended put a squeeze arm at the bottom of the incline, photo eyes for indexing. If you have a good shop crew, they can build the whole thing in house and install it themselves. Just a thought.
