You're right Magicman, I used the same blades for the pine as I did the Oak. Thanks for the heads up, I should have specified 250 bd ft of oak with a softwood band.

Had a really good blade yesterday. I got 300 bf of oak and about the same of cedar after hitting 2 nails right after I put it on. Just flicked out the little curls with my pocket knife and she was good to go. I only had 6 small cedar logs left to do wheni changed blades and could have made it but was sawing 2 logs at a time to get finished with the job before dark. It would have done them in singles just fine. Good blade.
