This guy was very lucky.  Glad to hear he's doing ok.

I spent 4 years in Alaska 1985-1989 and luckily I never saw a griz' in the wild!

I never went anywhere out of town without my trusty 44Mag on my side.

Even though the 44 is considered by most to be marginal on griz', it's a lot better than nothing and made me feel better just to have it!
