A dollar goes a long way in South Carolina!

Rocky_Ranger

I'd never been to the Great State of South Carolina until late February of this year.  I was impressed with the timber resource and beauty of the whole she-bang.  We came in from Birmingham and went over to the Isle of Pines on the Coast for a meeting.  Now that's a pretty spot too..... Lot's of farmin' and lots of loggin', I hope to take my bride there someday - she'd enjoy that part of the country....  I've lived in too many States to even remember but few have the diversity and beauty of South Carolina..
RETIRED!

Yes, it is a great place in a lot of ways. We have an abundance of different tree species here. From palms on the coast to spruces in the mountains, it's hard to find such diversity in such a small state. Of course Georgia and Florida have a lot of diversity, too, this whole corner of the US is quite diverse. And yes a dollar does go quite a long way.
