Ha,John is a hoot .

What happen was ole Gypo had a deal with that dealer in Ont .The prices have been discounted a tad bit .John made some money and the dealer made some money .The dealer sold John so many saws he won a trip I think to Germany .

The other local dealers whined to the company about it and thus ended the worlds greatest  seller of saws on the internet on flea bay .--that's the way the cookie crumbles  ;)

IMHO, this entire topic has been the classic, perfect example of "No picture = didn't happen".

Dad-Gummit! I still want to see the pictures.
I packed one many miles when I was about 17-18 in the redwoods. Now hear me right, I packed it, not run it, but packed it. :D
I was on different crews doing clean-up, building trails, ETC. We even got the pleasure of cleaning up after they shot the movie, "Return of the Jedi" in Brookings, Oregon. They should have been sued for the mess they left in the woods.
Okay, back to your regularly scheduled posts to this thread. ;D

I've always wondered where that was filmed.

Dave, it was just the part where they were flying the Riders (or whatever they were called) through the trees. I wasn't there to see it filmed, darnit!

How ridiculous.  All that, and no pics.  Didn't happen. That's pretty poor on the part of the poster not to post a pic, or send pics to someone here to post for him if he couldn't figure it out.

I sort of agree with the "over-rated" comment.  Finally got my 090 running right for CSM'ing.  It works, it chews through a bunch of wood, but not like the monster I was expecting from talk I heard.  It's still .8ft per minute on 24" hardwood.
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!

They aren't noted to be fast, powerful though .I could get about a foot a minute in 18" oak with a Mac 125 if that says anything .

Larry Steiner did have an 090 that was built by one Ken Dunn on the west coast that was fast and had a 10 tooth racing sprocket .I ran it .
