I've been looking for the same post. A couple Alabama boards might look in Michigan.

It's hard to say. You can't get here from just anywhere. We don't have any landmarks close by that outsiders would know about. I would say we are about 125 miles north of Mobile. 60 miles south of Selma,18 miles west of Camden. I see your from N.E. Alabama. How far is N.E. Alabama from Fort Payne. ;D

Congrats on the new mill. Jeff would be some happy to add your board to his ceiling. What's all the lumber going to be used for? Do you have trees on your land?

hackberry jake,
you are right - the jr will be a good little mill for me.would have liked to get the 40 but with the money i saved by going with the jr i was able to go ahead and buy a woodmaster 718.

Paper Maker,
yeah close to Ft. Payne.a little bit North of there - on Sand Mountain.

pc,
one of the reasons i went with the ez boardwalk was some old posts with your reviews on the 40.maybe you need to talk with Edward about being a salesman  :D

Magicman,
thanks for the warning.  ;D

thecfarm,
i plan to send in my board.we had a couple of tornados come through - 1 last October and got a little damage when they came through again on April 27.the April  one put a big white oak down on a shed (16 x 18) behind my house.i plan to use alot of the wood to build it back and expand it to 24x30 or so and make a woodworking shop to hold my new woodmaster 718. it blew down alot of pine, red oak, black locust, tulip poplar,&soft maple.
when i get done with my shop - i hope to build a little cabin back in the woods (kind of like Magicman's - i am still reading through his post about it and i am sure i'll have lots of questions about it)

thanks again for all the help.
