I recently discovered that my roller toe board has a broken bearing on the end towards the saw dust side of the mill. The roller towards the hitch end, the one I use the most for lifting logs to align the heart/pith to the table.

Has anyone changed one of these?

What is the procedure? Is it difficult?

Anyone got the stock number off hand for the bearing?

on the 70, the 300, and the 3500  they were welded together so most of the time i gust get the whole assembly.  I have cut a few of them apart with a grinder matched a new bearing up at NAPA and welded them back together.  I have 3 of them laying behind my office that need done now but I havent had time to mess with them.

I had one start to sieze up. I just pried out the seal, squirted grease in and worked it back and forth until it freed up. If the bearing is actually broken instead of siezed this won't help.
