Haytrader,

His heart is set on 'music'  is this playing an instrument, singing, or teaching.

Tell him to continue, with the woodworking as a backup during the oncoming hard times.

My Dad has his doctorate in Music, remember many hard years and a lot of politcal hoops within the teaching world around schools. (Colleges)

Mr. Wiley,

I guess he is into wood as he holds these two sticks in his hands.    :D
When he lived with his mom, I bought him a trap set for Christmas.
;)
He is following his sisters too, as he is a member of his schools mixed ensemble. They go through try outs to get in this group.  :)
