You need a cruise (inventory) to give you an idea of what your timber resource looks like.  Then, you can develop management strategies.

I just wire up the bottles to a low limb about 6 feet high. I've just got a young forest here. You could tie onto a shrub or suppressed tree nearby. If it's water tight you could leave it at the tree base.
