I don't eat much cheese, but a couple of guys at work talked about it. A friend of mine who retails high quality beef keeps some oddball cheese and non beef food items. Of course, my hearing sucks and I thought they said goat cheese. Nada. This is made with ghost peppers, which are 4 times hotter than habaneros. It is a white cheese. And boy is it good. For 5 bucks, I have a block of it that I will spend more in washing my hands in dishwashing liquid than I spent on the cheese. Its hot, but not an impossible hot. Fantastic flavor. Got to get some crackers to eat it with though. And maybe some beer.

SwampDonkey

I'm surprised it would be real hot, since milk is a neutralizer of hot peppers. Wash with goats milk soap.  ;D :D

haberneros are too hot for this mouth. Anything south of a jalapeno doesn't pass the teeth, nor is it allowed to touch the skin. Bell peppers are the way to go for me, and some times jalapenos are too hot. As for these ghost peppers, they're beyond imagination for me. Good thing you have them incased in cheese to help with the searing causticity.

No thanks!  Not a big fan of hot stuff. I work at a cheese factory part time in the summer, and we do habanero cheese. We have to wear eye protection and take extra care when working with the stuff. That's enough for me to not eat any more of it. We also do a spicy buffalo encrusted cheese, which some say is very good. I don't like it because we have to wear respirator masks and goggles when we mix it because the powder is so fine and irritating.

I give them away :D. Way too hot for me I just grow them. ;)

PM me your address and I'll send you a couple in about 2 weeks.

I've personally never seen anybody eat one except on you tube. LeeB has had a couple of mine he can tell you.

A couple friends put them in vinegar and use as seasoning or a bit cut up for chile. One in particular thought I was kidding and cut a couple up bare handed. According to her it spread before she realized what she had done, almost called the fire dept. I guess things got interesting before it was over.  :D :D

I'm game for a couple more. I liked the ones I had. They are bad to the bone.

Will do Raider. Thank you.

I learned the hard way about hot peppers. Never go pee after handling them, without a complete washing. Be kind of embarrassing to have the fire department hosing down your nether parts.

that could lead to more problems if you get caught up in the moment and forget where the problem started from in the first place.

Just made my own meat sauce for a taco wrap type dinner here. Made it with some hot ground chilli pepper, cupboard spices, corn starch, brown sugar, ketchup, some of Mike's Red Hot and Thick sauce. Cooked hamburger and thickened it with the sauce and had some kidney beans in there to. Added some Halberno cheese, olives, onion, bell pepper and another shot of Mike's on top, rolled up in flat bread. I must be getting immune because it wasn't hot at all. Nothin'  ::) I'm ready for them Ghost peppers. :D :D :D

My peppers finally arrived a few days ago. Sadly though, they had given up the ghost. The package was a moldy mess. Amazing that it arrived at all. The address was seriously wrong and the name on it was just Lee. I appreciate the effort though.

Had my first hot peppers from the garden tonight. Not bad. Picked some maters and will have some cukes by Monday.

One of the members of the morning coffee group (Danny, Claude if you remember) routinely brings in a couple of jalapenos and some long skinny peppers with no name.  Has the cook chop up the jalapenos into his eggs, and then munches on the others as he eats.  I start to sweat just watching him.

Yes, I remember him.  It would be nice to have breakfast there again with you, even if there are no peppers for the eggs.  The grits there were very good.
