It starts out when you can't sleep all night , then sleep through the 4:30 alarm. So you make it through the 6-5 day to rush home ....a 40 min drive ,load your chainsaws, winches, ...etc., head out to where the huge oaks grow straight and tall, but someone has changed the lock lol!!! so you make the best of it and drive another 20 miles the other way to maybe get one logbefore dark...and there it is a nice 26 inch oak, cause you was lazy and didn't sharpen your saw last time , you have to hurry and put a new chain on lol!!so you fall the tree , hook up the winch to and get it 1/4 way on the trailer and the new winch you bought ... breaks >>> so u fix it right!!! ok fixed , and its dark, log gets half way on and stuck, so you back the trailer up to help push it on right....wrong a stob goes into the side wall of a brandnew tire u just bought....so  you just finish loading that dang log and then change the flat lol!!! problem solved!!lol thats how u end the day

oh yeah when u get home your out of cold beverages !!!!

LOL   Must have been something in the breeze...the stars lining up funky, or something.

I spent 20 minutes at the convenience store - 3 getting lunch and 17 getting two gallons of diesel.  whiteflag_smiley

Pulled out on the road and prepared to make my left turn. Oncoming vehicle signaling left turn also. I seldom commit early in those situations - often missing my chance to turn just to be sure. I ALMOST NEVER TURN IN FRONT OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC...but the guy was slowing down substantially and signaling "left turn". I committed. Halfway into his lane, I had to lock it down and retreat! He was turning - 200 yards farther down the road ( very busy U.S. highway ). Surviving that one, I arrived at the mill and began sawing. On the way, I did think "Maybe this is a sign of things to come". It was.

Suffice it to say, I ended the day opening my just-delivered new box of blades because I realized the once-sharpened ones I brought along were just that. Sharpened once upon a time.

First blade out of the box caught in my pants leg as I unfolded it. While untangling myself, I thought it was strange how the blade seemed to "flip".

I figured it out after the smoke cleared and the bandwheels stopped spinning...

Tomorrow may not be much better, but it WILL be different.  ;)

Hang in there, Pat.
