After reading about Jeff's recent theft I've decided to build a small (4'x8') trailer to carry my tools and other valuables back and forth to the new "camp" property.   I've built many steel trailers but never a wooden one.  A fully enclosed trailer skinned with 1/4" ply and framed with 2x4s and a steel tounge should work fine.  This maybe my next project.

Yup, all wood is better.  That way they will not dull their chainsaw when they rip a hole in the side.   :-\

Sorry, I guess that I am seasoned to the fact that thieves are thieves.

You are only locking the honest folks out.

The trailer will stay at my main home which is far more theft resistant than the camp.  I like the idea of having my tools in one place and mobile  also.  A small trailer would be easy to secure in a locked shed bay.  Nothing is totally secure but this is about the best that I can do.
