I may have to retire early if POSTON is playing anything.

I just got a call from the La Quinta and they said that they needed some reservations called in by tomorrow afternoon or they would not be able to guarantee the rooms or the rate.

Not quite sure what the count is at this point, but I'm tentatively planning on leaving around noon (central) to be there 'round evening on Friday.  What should I bring Jake?

You might want to bring a guitar.

Julio is throwing together a Low Country Boil.  You don't want to miss that.

will do... I just hope I'm not going to be playing Alone!

We'll tie a pork chop around your neck so the dogs will play with you if nothing else.

I too have my gear loaded except for the cold stuff.  The box trailer is loaded with tarp buildings, tables, tents and cooking gear. The bikes and grill are in the bed of the truck.  I leave in the morning for White Springs FL and the 62nd FL folk festival.  I will blend into the tent city in the "pickers camp" and enjoy a day and a half of music.  I will depart from there about 5am Saturday for a Waffle House breakfast and plan to be there in Rentz at the advertised time of 9am.  Will be in the wife's station wagon for the sake of gas mileage.  After lunch, it'll be back to the festival.

If you're showing up in a station wagon, have about 15 fishing poles sticking out the back window.....you'll fit right in with the rest of us.  :D

Poston, is it too far out of your way to pick me up?  :'(  :'(  :'( I don't think my truck's safe to go that far. But seriously, I probably should stay home and take care of business anyway.  :-[

I hate to say it but I'm not going to make it this time.

A few too many irons in the fire and an opportunity to go Rock Fishing that can't be passed up.

See y'all next time or hopefully at  the pig roast!

If Mrs. Nancy is  helping in the kitchen she can have all the slabs that are left over. Keep in mind that Raidar Bill has put in a order for left overs also.  ;D

I'm in Greenville County, which is next to Pickens County and a lot like it but with fewer sawmills and more people. Not too far from I-85.

Ocklawahaboy

I just purchased 3 of the best pies FL for tomorrow.

Ocklawahaboy

Had a great time today.  Online friends became in person friends and logs became lumber and food became..... well we wont talk about that because the whole town where we are is without power so the lift pumps arent working..  at least there is still music, thanks to a generator.  it was well worth a 6 hr round trip. thanks to the hospitality and for the brainfood and belly food.
