The holes and cracks get filled with black epoxy. High PITA factor. :(

No doubt ready to get done, da. At the same time it feels good just to be moving again.

Another section of floor in a high traffic area. Can you pick out the non-eucalyptus boards? Mesquite, catclaw acacia, black walnut, black locust.

Two part with black colorant. :)

edit: Have to be careful with that stuff. One batch sat a little too long while I was dabbing small stuff and got hot on me and melted the plastic cup I was using. :-\

Will they be sanded off now? Any risk of the sandpaper picking up the dark color and leaving streaks in the flooring?
Going to look nice.

Bet some of your body parts are colorant, too.

Mostly just on my hands arms legs and feet. :(

The only place it was an issue is where the colorant didn't get mixed in so well and stayed gooey. The colorant is really old and gummy and you have to really moosh it around to bust it up.

Sand a floor. Sand a floor.
Just knocking off the bumps of the epoxy and high boards here with 36 grit.

Rented the big drum sander and edge sander this afternoon and got it all to 36 grit. Took like 8 passes to get it to ok.
