Got an e-mail f/WM that they are sending me a free new owners package for buying and registering my used mill. E-mailed them back and asked about ordering a manual or getting an e-copy. 10 minutes later, the .pdf owner's manual was in my inbox. Sent to t my printer friend and he's sending a hard copy by snail mail. What a dream dealing with WM. Great people.

I am jazzed with my mill. Just gotta go out to the property and snag a few logs, bring them home and fire it up. Gotta go slow and get familiar with my new mill.

Thanks all.

We are all smiles for you.   8)  There is a lot of info in that manual.  Being familiar with it will prevent many headaches later.   ;)

Congratulations Gimpy,
Dont try to saw through the back stops, I think only one guy here has ever got through one and I forgot who it was that admitted it  :D but it might have been a green LT 70 if my memory serves me right.

Welcome to the Forum gimpy but be careful if you get the sawdust bug you are stuck with it for life 8)

That's seems to be the only bug we can't spray for or kill by kiln drying. Talk about an invasive species!  :D

Welcome to Sawdust in your shoes. I got my mill when I retired in 97. Yes, Wood-Mizer is closed on Sunday. It is a Christian Company.
Yes, I have sawed metal to. It is a good wakeup call. A sound you will remember!
I use Wood-Mizer resharp and when I put that blade on, It will cut! When I hit metal, I sent a part of a box, and it comes back full! Love it!
Better get a apron to protect you clothing, as the stain is hard to get out.
Be nice if you were close to another owner, so you could spent a few hours with some one and learn a few of the in and outs. Have Fun! Read that manual.
