My recently completed saw quide. Laughter permitted but it works

I'm having terrible time trying to figure out right procedure for attaching images. Think I've got at least five of these in the photo gallery.

I made something simular out of 2 pieces of 2" flat bar with 1 1/2 angle fpr a guide rail. Never did work too good though. Too much slop in it. Didn't take too much of that to figure out I didn't care a whole lot for chainsaw milling. Tough work. LeeB

I had that trouble with the first one I built. This one works much better with little slop. Most of the raw timber I work with is too small or short for a proper mill.

I only have a small Kubota B7100 tractor so moving logs of any size is difficult.  This quide allows me to go to the log and bring out the rough boards.
