I have a customer that wants me to dry white Pine 6X8 beams that are 16 feet long. Any idea how long this will take. The manual for my Ebac only shows drying time up to 3" thick. Also with the wood being so thick, can I use my pin type meter to measure the mc? Seems that I'd only be able to measure the surface mc.
Mobile Demension sawmill, Bobcat 873 loader, 3 dry kilns and a long "to do" list.

EWP will take about 4 weeks in a low temp kiln. The amount that you can dry in that time depends on the size of your unit.
