I have been running my 6100 for awhile now . Had a few issues from the start but those got sorted out and has been a good running saw. The fuel line came off, and had a some other minor things that the dealer updated. My saw was made prior to 4/14. From what I have heard the saws after that were dealt with. Mostly limb with mine and cut cordwood with it . I love the push down shut off, very easy and well thought switch. good luck, think you will like it.
In two days from now, tomorrow will be yesterday.

Bought one yesterday to replace a cantankerous Huswvarna 359. Ran two tanks of gas through it. It is a beast!  I had to open the oiler screw full open to get the chain oiling like I like it. I think I/we will be pleased.

The 6100 actually doesn't have the power of the stronger 60cc saws, and is notisably heavier and clumsier to handle than the best of them (inboard clutch syndrome). The 359 is a model that purposly was demoted in power vs. the 357xp, to hit a lower price point - so not the right saw to compare to.
Information collector.

Congrads  on your new Dolmar, after watching vids on youtube there is not much difference in cutting speed in any of the good 60cc saws.  Steve
