Nancy just found out how da Goat made the trip to the PR so fast!

Traveling to the PR, da goat got the best mileage...only a bale of hay per mile...even had air conditioning!!!!

After about three weeks on the road, my wife and I are back home and I wanted to say, my first pig roast was great!
Teea and I want to extend a hearty thank you to Jeff and his family for their hospitality and generosity.
And, gotta say, meeting Forum folk in person instead of on the web was a treat.
Sorta like a good family reality show . . :D

The weather was great, the food fabulous and the stories and tall tales around the fire . . . the stuff of legends.
I'll throw some photos up here now, and sorry for the late posting. (it took me a while to recover from a picture of green shorts in post#32. sorta like snow blindness.)
We drove South from the Upper Peninsula over the Mackinac Bridge. It looks big 'cause its five miles long!

Glad the weather was good when we went over, because the road deck is about 550 feet above the water!
