Live Elk viewing camera.

  To see some of PAs elk herd go to the PA game commission site and click on the live elk streaming camera icon, I'm sure one of you computer savvy  dudes can add a link. Evenings seem to be best time to watch although even after dark you can see some, maybe even some deer, bear or turkeys.

  At 7 PM there was a huge bull 3 cows and 3 calves on.

Yup, I watched them until they decided to leave. He looked like a 7X7.  I was hoping that the one in the background bugling would show up but he didn't.  He probably has a few cows for himself too.

Two men just walked South on the road that is on the Western side of the viewing area.   ???

The leaves have really changed during the past 3 weeks.  I haven heard an elk bugle in over a week.

From their website:  The live stream is slated to run until the end of the bugling season, likely sometime in mid-October. The top time to see elk on camera has been late in the afternoon.

I guess from that we will have to wait until next year to see it again.   :-\

   Monday Nov 2nd starts the Elk hunt in PA, permits by lottery and hard to get. My one neighbors wife got a bull permit for an area a few miles from where that camera is so I'm anxiously awaiting a good report.

   On Friday after 5 days of hunting the neighbor lady got her bull a 6X7. I got to see it today and hear the story, much tougher hunt than expected, people see the semi-tame bulls near town but that's not the area you hunt.
