Hello All!
I'm am looking around for a Pettibone Mountain Goat 501 Speed Skidder with Front Loader. We had one when I grew up. Was sold after we closed the business after my dads passing. Was sold in NE Indiana. I believe it went to a buyer in the Hamilton, IN area. I would really like to find ours or at least information on it. And find another one if not our old machine. I think I know the last name of the buyer but, I'm not going to put it up here in case my memory is not right. My mom sold it when I was on the road and it was picked up by the buyer when I was on the road too.

Anyone please respond with info on the where abouts of one of these. Hopefully close to me. And I would love to find pictures of of one with the front loader option.

I have that same machine, but no loader. I thought they would be kind of a joke until I saw pictures of one with a 2 ton truck hoisted all the way up! All of the sudden I wanted one for mine, too!😁 Good luck finding your old machine!

the happiest day of my life is when my 501 went down the road to some other poor guy I think I still have the parts and shop manual for a 501 hope you find your old one

Our youngest daughter met a classmate at school that knows the location of our old skidder and the owner is willing to sell it to me. Still working out a deal. Can’t wait to get the deal done and haul “The Goat” as my dad always called it back home where it belongs!

And now I find out that the guy has started parting it out. Hoping to get the balance of what’s left...
