Good bandsaw with a resaw blade.

Have a great day

Brad_S.

As above, a good upright shop bandsaw, sturdy fence and a power feed. Perhaps an infeed and/or out feed table or rollers as well for the longer stock.

I had some spacers made to go on the shaft of a Hud-son 19 13 edger  with some split blades we will see how it works this week when the parts come in

Rwepinetree,
If you have access to a band saw mill, you may be able to use double sided tape and attach the pieces you want to resaw to another board that is on the mill's bed (clamp the bottom board with the mill's clamp).  This would require a bit more time than using a shop band saw with a good fence but if you only had a few to do it may be an option.

Along those lines. I wonder if making a suction  table, that one would clamp on the mill bed would be an option.

My first thought was to use a table saw,
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Since these are only 1x1 it would be a major PITA to do it on a sawmill, I think.  I'd use my shop bandsaw.

DRobertson and Nomad, y'all are right about it being much easier to resaw such a small piece of wood on a table saw or shop band saw.  I was thinking, when I mentioned the double stick tape, about something too wide to resaw on a table saw or my shop band saw.

For something wider, I think your idea is a good one. smiley_thumbsup
