Which one?

I started out humping a LewiSaw up and down these hills. LewiSaw sold the design rights to EcoSaw, who sold them to D&L. That'd be the D&L mill that looks like this, which I am not sure if they build anymore:

The rest of D&L's swingblades are I believe based off that design, but modified to work from a four post head set on rails/ trailer etc. The powerhead/box/blade design is still pretty much the same I believe.

Lindsey Flett at D&L from what I've heard is a pretty switched on guy whos built a lot of practical small sawmills that work. Having said that I've never seen a D&L built mill in the flesh, but what I see in their product videos makes sense to me.

So far as the original design went; I made a LOT of money off the old LewiSaw. People diss them but they truly are a man portable, hump it up mountains on your shoulders and helilift the sawn timber out portable mill. What can you say about a portable mill whos design included slots for poles so two guys could hump the motor and box about.
The quickest way to make a million dollars with a sawmill is to start with two million.
