Staring Out

Hi All,
What's a good chain thickness for sycamore chainsaw milling.  The widest piece is about three feet. Can also use pitch suggestions.  Thx.

Welcome and you may want to update your profile with information that tells us a little about you.  I have primarily 3/8" .058 or .063 chain for chainsaw milling.  My bars dictate what I use.  I did have to change the sprocket on my Husky 3120 from .404 to 3/8" since the 56" bar called for that and it is the .063.
