Tom - If I had the chequebook to go along with it - im sure it would have kept me busy a long time also!!!  But alas back to the children I return next week! Guess I have to think about seriously saving! That or getting Ian onto those slabs in the shed - between his workshop and sawmill there just never seems to be enough time!!!! (Being number one offloader and almost photographer - I know these things) But anyways we have the photos and memories.

I never really looked at "wood" in this light - it has a whole new meaning for me now!

Im sure if you retraced Ian and my footsteps - the whole trip would have kept you busy!

Hobbies and Interests

Interests revolve around my partners love of sawmills! - Hence being his NUMBER ONE OFFLOADER - Myself - I like the smell of sawdust. If I had my choice I would have BIG MACHINERY - who wouldn't want their own combine harvester and an 18 wheeler (Scania)

Larry

Thanks for taking the time to give us a tour Lil and Ian.

Kauri trees must be very special as it is the first tree featured in the book Remarkable Trees of The World.
Larry, making useful and beautiful things out of the most environmental friendly material on the planet.

We need to insure our customers understand the importance of our craft.

I like the idea of your delving into the shed for the slabs better than wishing for a fat checkbook. ;D

You never know.  You guys might run that furniture business a close race with rustic table tops.  It sure would be a way to fill your house with beautiful slab tables and the like. :)

As Number One Off-Bearer, you get first choice. ;D 8)
