The First 70 years of childhood is always the hardest.
My advice on aging gracefully... ride fast bikes and date faster women, drink good tequila, practice your draw daily, be honest and fair in your dealings, but suffer not fools. Eat a hearty breakfast, and remember, ALL politicians are crooks.

I was planning on bringing my uncle with me, but it looks like I'll be coming solo. See y'all Friday  :)

I may not be able to come now.
Having an MRI done on my ankle Thursday morning.
It's not healing. Was at the doctor this morning at 9 and that was his orders.
Hope I don't have to have surgery.
The older I get I wish my body could Re-Gen.

David, is that emergency surgery?  You can still go.  I can drive to Rock Hill and chauffeur you if you like (from Salters, SC).  I can probably find you a wheel chair too.

I see an operators seat in your future.

Well, when the doc orders, you've gotta listen.
There's only two of those ankle things down there, and you'll be happier with two of 'em working and in good order.
The operator's seat in Jake's skidsteer would help keep the weight off your ankle.
;)
Good luck sir, wishing you the best possible results from the MRI scan!

Goat,
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Hope that hoof will start recovering soon. I have never attended the Georgia Sawing Project but cant imagine it would be the same without you! Hope you heal soon.

I have had some folks contacting me wanting to know what they can bring. Well here is a list and y'all pick one if you are so inclined and post it on here. This way we don't have several bringing the same thing.

1. Soda pop. I could use one more individual to bring a few more cases.
2. Tater chips.
3. Paper plates, plastic ware, cups.
4. Bottled water.
5. Dessert.
6. Side dishes.

I might come up with something else in a bit so stay tuned.. :D

Sure hope everything works out with that ankle.  Surgery is no fun.

Teea and I will bring some deserts and a coupla side dishes.
We're driving North from Florida - so that'd be grits and cookies, grits and ice cream, grits and casseroles.
Heck, I even opted for grits and butter as a side dish last night.

I'm from Canada, but I'm clearly getting the hang of this . . . .  :o
