Corridor skidding |
|
Logging procedure using cable yarders in which narrow clearcuts are made through a stand. Cables are strung in these clear-cut corridors to transport logs from the woods to the landing. Between corridors only a portion of the trees in the stand are removed, and these harvested trees are skidded to the corridor. |
