Crown class | 1.) All trees in a stand whose tops or crowns occupy a similar position in the canopy or crown cover. 2.) Class into which the trees forming the crop or stand may be divided on the basis of both their crown development and crown position relative to the crowns of adjacent trees and the general canopy. Also the trees falling into such a class. |
