Simonds standall teeth quality control issue - anyone else notice?

Recently we got a shipment of Stand-All 5/16ths 9/8 BF style chrome teeth from Simonds and every box we got for the last two shipments were absolute garbage and was wondering if other people experienced the same thing.

Straight out of the box the teeth were *very* dull and the cutting surface was shorter than usual. One box was extremely dull AND had a rolled over burr edge. I can tell they weren't used, the flat surface looks brand new and the box was taped shut. Read More

I went for a little drive today and low and behold this EZ Boardwalk 40 with about 100 hours on it hitched itself to my truck and followed me home.

Transducer woes!!

I NEED HELP!

Greetings all, I have a 2013 WM LT50 with command control. A month ago I started getting the transducer error on the Accuset II screen and I can seem to fix it!!
The Accuset comes in and out (mostly out, I.e. not working) Sometimes the head will start hunting and go to the top of the mast. I shut the mill off and restart it, might take a few tries to get it back down. Read More

Facing the Wind

This was one of the days where there was only one direction and location to set up the mill. That was facing the wind. After eating sawdust on a dried red oak first cut, I shut down and dug through my boxes and found a pair of cheap safety glasses. I studying the idea of a covid type plexiglass windshield....
